Jesus, Nevermind is 20 years old. You may be tired of listening to the story about how Nirvana killed hair metal but it was completely true in my case. I still remember the first time I heard Teen Spirit on the radio, thinking “holy shit, who is this?” It was an instant wake-up call for all the little quinceañero trend whores like me. I never bought another Skid Row record after that.
